If not, Google it. The story goes back to the Plague when parents who had actual SILVERware, would give their babies a spoon to suck on. This allowed minute traces of silver to enter the child's body and help protect them from the Plague.
Ever seen a milk bucket from the 1800s? Before refrigeration, farmers would paint the INSIDE if their milk buckets with silver. Why? Because the silver would inhibit bacterial growth and keep the milk good, without refrigeration, for at least a day.
ALL of the surgical equipment was crated from silver for centuries for a very good reason. It's not magic, it's science. As a species, we figured it out long ago; we have simply forgotten that knowledge. Well... not ALL of us!
